Our People Find Engine was designed to enable us to find people with the correct skills and job competencies to meet our clients criteria. The People Find Engine accesses in excess of 500,000 resumes through licenced databases over the Internet. Searches are conducted in vastly compressed time scales as opposed to the traditional methods of advertising.

Given the quantity of resumes we are searching, in most cases we get an excellent fit, short list these candidates and interview them to determine culture fit and ensuring that job competencies match the required criteria. If we are not immediately able to find the person you need, we are able to setup "Spider Crawl" which trolls the Internet databases searching for a particular match on skills or job competency. When an individual puts a resume into the databases with a match on skills/competency, we are notified immediately. We can then interview this person and present their credentials and resume to you if they are suitably skilled. If our People Find Engine and Spider Crawl is still not able to find individuals with the right skills and competencies, we will resort to traditional methods of advertising or head hunting to find the person you need.

Information Technology Case Study 1

Technical Specialist: Network Consultant, Worldwide Manufacturing Organisation

Business Background

A major Manufacturing Organisation with in excess of 200 Worldwide sites incorporating Europe, Asia Pacific & America conducting predominantly packaging and logistics activities in these areas was wishing to expand its internal IT delivery capabilities to improve communications and network response.

Position Context and Scope

Technical Infrastructure consultant to redesign the Microsoft & Novell Network to improve interoperability and performance of some 1100 Servers. The role also incorporated consulting recommendations surrounding WAN: Cisco IP Network Design and the development of implementation policies throughout the Asia Pac region, so that they could be replicated throughout Europe and America whilst been accessible by the African sites.

The role was a hands-on technical position that needed someone with the knowledge and flair of a true consultant to sell the solutions to the various locations and departmental leaders.

Sourcing Methods Adopted

The client had tried numerous traditional recruitment firms and had paid a total of thousands of dollars in advertisements, let alone the retained agency fee for one agency to perform an international search. They were informed that the resource does not exist in Australia. They had been looking for 5 months and were about to engage a large consultancy at even greater expense.

Outcome

All 5 were thoroughly interviewed, 3 short listed and reference checked within 2 days and presented to the client for interview. Within a week the placement was completed and the successful candidate started 2 weeks later. Both the client and candidate enjoyed the process and are still working together one year on.
